Leveling my 07 SPORT

hey guys, I need to make sure I got this strait and this is a possible way to level my truck.

I went outside this morning and measured from the ground up to the fender, the front was at 31.5", the rear sits at 35.5"... is it possible to remove the factory 2" block and leave the front alone, I don't wanna touch the T-bars... so all I'd need to do is remove the blocks and install new U-bolts...right?

Thanks!

it'll be a lot closer to level though
he'll only be off by a 1.5"

and try measuring to one of the lines in the body, i heard that the fenders aren't equal

that is true.....for a more accurate measurement, measure to the bottom of the rocker panel in front of the rear tire and behind the front tire....

T-bars will sag in time even if you never touch them...

If he don't want to ride Cali style, then the blocks should stay. I HATE it when a truck has some wimpy *** load in the back and it looks like a squating dog because of a "leveling" kit (or block removal whatever) I can put 800 pounds of sh*t in the bed of my truck and still be level (or slightly high in the rear)

After I took my blocks out, I sat about 1 inch lower in the back.

I love the rake mine has, everyone says that about it to. I woulden't touch the Tbars either. It looks like **** when some people do it, the front of the freaking truck is higher than the back.

I was scared to crank mine, but honestly. I'm glad I did it looks 10X's better and rides a little better. I don't bottom out the front anymore. I cranked my 1 and 1/4 inch and it sits perfect. Rear is just slightly higher, but not as dramatic. I say just crank the bars a tad. If you crank less then an inch and a half you shouldn't need an alignment. I never got one and my alignment is perfect still and its been atleast 2 years since I did it. It will also be less work to crank them then to remove the rear blocks.

yea, I was scared to touch mine for a long time, but after I did the first time it doesnt bother me anymore. I've cranked mine down 2 1/2 turns and now the front sits just a little lower than the back.

When I cranked mine the front was taller than the back until the AAL's were put in.

Cody you so bought the wrong truck to lower i still dont get why you didnt get a XLT...

and what you photoshoped your gonna have to crank out the bars for that...

in the long run ditching the t-bars and fabbing up a coil over set up... but thats a while off i bet...

I agree with Stone, you bought the wrong truck to lower. I actually think your truck looks great at its current height...

my original idea is still to turn the T-Bar so I can lift the front... but then I looked at it and thought well I know I can take out those blocks and I won't hurt anything... I just don't wanna screw up my ride quality, the thing is pretty stiff as it is...
