What Ive been up to lately: Wheel Bearing Failure!!

Well I havent posted on this site in a long time so I think ill go ahead and fill some people in on what ive been doing lately:

I started this year off with kind of a new type of coil over setup. Picked up some longer eyelets for the lower A arm mount and order up some new Fox coil overs to match:

Then just last week my wheel bearing fails on the passenger side, while I had it all apart,I changed the diff fluid/gasket, i replaced every ball joint/tie rods, cv axles, wheels bearings of course, brake pads and rotors:

whew what a year so far... Next is get my exhaust tucked and squared away and install some support bars for my front drop brackets. then maybe have a custom tranny cross member made up for me so i can finally install my front drive shaft again.

Looks like someone was having some fun!
was your jack tall enough for your truck, if you didn't have to take a tire off, i'd have probably said, why bother.

What's different about those coilovers from your old ones?

Did the old ones hit the lower bracket without that longer eyelet?

The older c/o's i had were blue and springs were 750s. The lower eyelets somewhat hit the cv boot at full turn sometimes i think causing my boots to break like they did. It never caused an issue but i was tired of grease flying everywhere so i went ahead and order longer eyelets. Since fox doesnt do the blue anymore, i didnt want to mix colors so i just went ahead and bought new c/o's to match the new eyelets. Since i was getting new c/o's i opted to buy new heavier duty springs(850s) as well to handle the extra weight of the 5.0 motor i have in the truck. This setup seems to be a better fit for my truck.
