RCD lift

Do they make the 5.5 RCD lift for 2004 ford ranger? There is a guy on here getting ready to put one on his 04 but I didn;t think hey made one for the 04"s

they dont even make that kit anymore.

If you can find a used one though.....yes it will fit an 04 4x4.

Yeahhh I'd do the superlift and the the coilover conversion from what I got out of some threads I read it's pretty much the same as the rcd ?? Is that right?

Umm yes technically except it can either be better or worse or better/worse(depending on your opinion of radius arms).

Because The superlift lowers your torsion bar while hte RCD converts to coils and installs radius arms (which kind of mimic the position of torsion bars but not as bad..

So, additionally from there, some people add coilovers to the superlift. TECHNICALLY you can remove the torsion bars completely and you don't actually need radius arms therefore the Superlift would create an RCD with no radius arms.

To sum it up:

RCD: Radius arms and coilovers
Superlift: tbars(suck) and shocks
modified superlift: just coilovers.

From what I've seen, the RCD doesn't actually have real radius arms. Just some crappy, thin tubing to act as braces. Not a true radius arm. I've been wrong before though.

RCD calls them strut braces. In function, they are a far cry from radius arms.
