wheel bearring

wheel bearring

i have a 98 ranger 4x4 and some1 told me that the ranger and explorer wheel bearings are the same is it true? explorers wheel bearings are a lot cheaper then the rangers..

Since your truck is a 98 it will have PVH hubs and the explorer hubs will not work. If your truck was an 01-up then the explorer hubs would fit. You are limited to hubs made for 98-00 rangers only.

If you wanted to change out the CV shafts as well for the ones used on explorers and 01 up rangers then the explorer hubs would work, but that would kinda eliminate the being cheaper factor lol.
