I did the spindle lift 3 weekends ago, got the truck aligned but did not do the camber kit, because they didn't have the one i needed in stock. They say (pep boys) that the stock specs say it needs to be within 1.2 degrees of being straight vertical. Right now one of my wheels is at 1.2 the other is at 1.5 degrees. I am going on a camping trip this weekend and will be driving roughly 400+ miles. Should i do it before, or is that okay for now? I have put about 200 miles of it since the lift driving as is with no complaints. I was also quoted $210 for just the camber kit, not a full alignment. Does that sound right? Thanks for the help.

 

I'm shopping around right now too. I was just quoted $120 for an alignment with camber adjustment by one of my local stealerships. After hearing that quote from you I hope they got my point about the camber adjustment. I would like to here some prices also.

 

My Camber Kit was $35 Bucks..

 

That's a pretty small off-camber situation. I think you could tolerate that without a lot of tire wear. At the very lease I wouldn't worry about it too much until you get the kit.

 

man i got my camber kit for 19 bucks and did my own alignment...wasent to bad at all...
