If you go to advance auto parts website, you can get a pair of them for $75 and pick them up in the store. I got $40 off of the pair last week.

I'm gonna go with the original ebay aluminum lift blocks, two things though:

1) Will I need to adjust anything like brake lines, etc. with the 4" block and 2.5" shackles?

2) Are these fox shocks long enough? Off Road Warehouse - Shocks Fox Shocks O.E. Applications Ford Fox Shocks Fox Shox Performance Series Rear Shock 2-3'' Lift for 1998-2011 Ford Ranger 2wd

You might have to extend the brake line. Don't wanna be flexing and have it tear off haha.

You are adding 6.5" of lift and those shocks are for 2-3" of lift.... what do you think?

Idk if the 2-3" of lift is for 4x4 or 4x2. Technically I'm only adding 4.5" of lift because I'm taking out the factory 2" block.

the block is a bad way to go.... and i have not seen anyone here mention one of the cheapest and best ways to go... just ADD A LEAF! go to summit racing.com and buy the procomp add-a-leaf kit. i think i paid around $35. i left my stock block in and it gave me 2 full inches of lift in the rear, i also have the lift shackles.

going this route will be very cheap, safer than blocks, less axle wrap then the factory leafs by themselves, and your truck can carry a little more wieght making the truck MORE USEFUL!! i honestly noticed no difference in ride quality as well. it did not make my truck ride harsher at all.
