ZR2 rear leafs

anyone ever try these on a ranger?

i may pick up a pair cheap, hope to remove the lift block.

lifted97ranger 03-16-2008 11:52 AM

havent heard of that, but keep up updated on how they work...

casfz1 03-16-2008 12:08 PM

Since they are made for a spring under set up and have a very high arch built into them, I think they will most likely provide to much lift and a very stiff ride.

redranger4.0 03-16-2008 12:08 PM

do they have the same eye to eye? or are you going to be moving hangers?

they are still made for s10 weight so i doubt they would give a bad ride.

i'm going to get some measurements, i think they may be close, one other note, the ZR2 uses a rear track bar.

meemooer 03-16-2008 01:45 PM

why would they have a track bar? i thought those were for 4link's and the like?

lots of vehicles come from the factory with panhards with leaf setups.

This might be something I'd be interested in. ZR2's are axle over leaf aren't they?

yes.....all S-10's and S-10 Blazers are SUA (Spring Under Axle)

Oh5Edge 03-17-2008 10:02 AM

So do the 2wd S-10's have a lowering block from the factory or do the ZR2's just have lifted leafs?

lifted97ranger 03-17-2008 10:04 AM

the ZR2's have a lifted leaf in them....

n3elz 03-17-2008 02:18 PM

This would be interesting. I'm curious about the length also. Good deal, Mark, if it turns out you've got something.

Ftirish86 04-03-2008 05:35 PM

my buddy has a ZR2 if you need measurements or pics! Im interested as well. We both are planning on SAS and he may part with his rear leafs not sure yet. KEEP IT UPDATED
