255/70/16 or other tires that fit : Binghamton, NY
I am looking for a set of tires for my truck. The truck is a 2005 Ford Ranger XLT. It came stock with Wrangler RT/S tires in a 255/70/R16 size. I am not sure of what other sizes will work with the truck, as it is stock with no lift. I believe 245/75/R16 will work and 265/75/R16 might work as well.
I am looking for a A/T or a M/T tire that will work alright in snow. I deal with alot of snow (light on roads, as well as deep on roads). I do use the truck off road sometimes, to go hunting or fishing mainly though some messy stuff. I am not big into off-roading, as I simply do not have the time. I am looking for maybe some used tires that have a fair amount of tread left. I would be open to the idea of rims & tires in a combo, as my rims are corroded. Let me know what you have.
