I understand the differences and the thought behind your being pissed but all of the guys have their points; you have an idea and it gets side tracked, I know the feeling and it $ucks.

Less BC means the tire will stick out more, good or bad it will shorten the turning radius or cause the tires to contact the body, dependent on the lift amount, and cause extra wear on the bearing packs.

Talk to the old man and have him ex-change them for you, explain the wrong wheels, the look, the BC, he might appreciate the knowledge and the talk.

ok quoting that original phrase out of text does look worse than it actually was. I'd call my dad retarded (even though he would know I was kidding) if he didn't order something when he had all the information printed out and all he had to say was "I want this" *hands paper over* but it wasn't his dads fault anyways, as he stated, and stated at first that that is probably what happened. so lighten up a bit.

OP came out on top for the order mishap though. I like the ones you actually got a lot better, as it seems like most do. and the BS will be a plus on it too! should look good once they're mounted up

-and to that cheerios comment, id FOR SURE call my parents retarded for getting reg cheerios over honey nut....they wouldnt even eat them haha. ***** like eating cardboard

Hilarious ordeal if you ask me, I would rather have the ones with less backspacing (i think i dunno haven't put non-stock rims on) cause i think tires that stick out more than like 6 inches are ugly. both will look great on your truck,
at least your dad went to the summit store, mine wouldn't have left the house.

Your dad did you a solid. Write him a christmas card from me, it should say,

Dear MasterAtArm's father. You have great taste and I'm sad to inform you that this characteristic wasn't transferred to your son during the act of conception. I recommend that you take away your son's gift and install them on your truck (or car) instead. If there is still time, since him to military camp to straighten him out.
Sincerely, R-F.com

Quit complaining and just be happy they are wanting to help you with your truck. Did you even pay for the truck? Or are you ungrateful that they bought you a ranger as well?
No I paid for my truck, but I got it from a relative for $1k so it was a steal. I wasn't complaining so much as to the style, as they are similar, but to the fact that the BS and Offset were different. It sucks when you get something for Christmas that doesn't work. I wasn't sure if they would or not.

either way, post up pics when you get those wheels on.
No, you don't know what you are talking about, I am fully within my rights to be so critical.

And yes, pics will be posted once I put on my lift, wheels, and tires

Wow, ok, I feel like I am getting ripped a new a$$ hole. Anyway, if I have to wait till after the holdiays to exchange them that kinda sucks. It would be nice to get it right the first time. Not that it was his fault since I found out they only had 3 in stock.

At the time it was defiantly aggravating to think you tried to hold someones hand through something and they still messed it up. But at the end of the day it ended up not being his fault so yeah. And for sure, the Regular Cheerios over Honey Nut Cheerios would not go unpunished. That is punishable by at least a week of whining lol.

Hopefully the BS isn't a problem. It's only off like 1/2 inch but it could be a rubbing issue depending on my tires. We will see. And maybe we will go exchange them. Kinda aggravating.

cool. It looks like my dad accidentally did me a favor. I'm sure on Christmas morning when I "unwrap" them he will tell me all about how they didn't have the Bajas and he hopes these will be fine. I'll let him know he did very good and they are actually a much better wheel. Much thanks and appreciation will be given.

Ungreatful stuff aside, The Eagles are a better fit. They will look better and tons of guys on this board run them with no problem. I used to have the eagle 058s on my truck, had no problems. I've had the eagle 186s on my truck for a few years now with no problems. The only difference in the 058s and the 186s is the hole size, the 186 has larger holes.
