so i installed everything last week and the weather was finally decent enough today to clean her up and take some pics. i did the best i could with my crappy point n' click camera and the non-optimal lighting, but you guys get the idea. i also need to re-do the exhaust and install the gap guards. wheels are 15x8 M/T Classic Locks and tires are 33x12.5 BFG KM2's.

i'm thinking about doing the t-bar crank to level out the front some, and the 33's chew the bumper from time to time, especially in reverse what do you guys think?

also, i've never owned a truck with tires this large and mud terrains...when the truck hits speeds over 55 it feels like it gets really loose and wants to track and move all over the road. the best way i can describe it is it feels like when i put bias ply slicks aired down to 12psi on my mustang and hit the drag strip, it's kinda scary. is this normal and something i need to get used to? or could something be wrong? they are aired to 31psi and were mounted and balanced on the wheels by 4wheelparts.com.

i like it are them up to 35 psi it should help some. there is a lot side wall there to flex.

looks good! as for the pulling, just something you'll get used to, rangers dont exactly handle well, but throw an MT on there with an aggressive sidewall and that just makes it worse, I put my KM2s on and felt a huge difference in the truck wanting to drift around

 

Iv gotta say, that truck looks BAD A**!!!!!

 

And as for the drifting... I think its a big truck thing. I think the tires like to grab the contours of the road and pull you whereever it wants. Im not an expert but thats what it feels like. I had a jacked up F-150 and it was pretty bad and it was lifted with quality parts.
As for the rubbing, that F-150 also had cutouts out of the lower valance on the bumper to keep it from rubbbing. Notch em out and no one will even notice!

 

thanks everyone. i might just try and air them up some more as mentioned and see if that helps. i was just worried it might have been some sort of balancing issue, just seemed a bit weird and unstable to me. i'll probably end up doing the tbars tonight or tomorrow just because i really like that leveled out look, i dont mind a lil stiffer ride.

 

a few miles after getting mine balanced i had CRAZY vibrations. it will probably get worse since the tires are brand new. Thing i learned from a ford tech whos a member on here also is to drive it 10 miles before getting them balanced. got em balanced again after and all was good.

Heck when I switched to 31 ATs which aren't the even very aggressive I've noticed more pull. Bumps and crevices in the road want to suck your right it.

It doesn't help I only have weights on the inside lol.

looks good man. i've lifted mine recently too. it feels like a new truck.

 

Certain tires when new have a very noticeable "looseness" to them. Uniroyal HD's and Kumho's have some very loose feeling tires when new.
