backspacing question

Hi all,
First post and sorry if the question seems dumb. Picking up some american racing ar 767s, 15x8. I've measured them and I keep getting 4.75" backspacing. Supposedly it has a -12mm offset. If putting 31x10.5x15 has anyone had any trouble with rubbing? I see most people try to run 3.5" to 3.75" backspacing. Think these will look awkward on my truck? Oh and it's a 2005 XLT 4x4.

Stock is 15x7 with either 4.75" or 4.5" BS. I can exactly remember. They are going to be sucked in more than most prefer for aftermarket wheels but will have the same look as stock I would think.

so what about a wheel spacer? I've heard that some people refuse to use them. I can't really beat this deal on the rims.

I'm not a fan of them but as long as they aren't crazy they would probably be fine

Pretty much any 15x8 wheel that's designed for a light truck, it's backspacing is perfectly fine for a Ranger.

And just so you know, many 98+ 4x4 Rangers came stock with 31x10.50. You're overthinking. You'll be fine.

hehe I tend to do that a lot. However the wheels are being mounted and balanced and getting the alignment tomorrow morning! Can't wait to get it after work tomorrow!
