31x10.5 on a stock rim

31x10.5 on a stock rim

I'm running the stock 15x i guess its 7" rim. the 31's gonna fit with no problem? i can afford the tires but new rims is a bit out of the question

yes its fine.. stock level II rangers come with alcoa 15x7 with 31x10.5

alright thanks. also why is it that it says an oem tire available for a ranger is the 265x75r15 but not a 31x10.5 when they are basically the exact same size

same thing happened to me when i went to cosco to get my tires put on. my 04 edge 2wd they only had 2 tire sizes they could put on and the 31 was not one of them. I explained to them that it came on the level II and they looked it up and sure enuff it did. They ended up doing it for me but with much hesitation.

BF Goodrich's website has a tire fitment guide and even they say 31x10.5 will fit on a 15x7 rim, and as stated the L2's come with this tire combo stock.

Cosco do to a huge lawsuit can only install OEM tire sizes UNLESS you bring the rims in with out a vehicle...

i know someone told me that they work at walmart and all you do is sign a waiver and they will do it

just a rule of thumb. 4" difference is okay. For example: 11.50 on 8" rim is okey dokey. I run 15x8 w/ 12.50s...no problem.
