Which 15" Wheels Will Fit My 06'???
I'm lookin at these pro comp wheels for my 2006 4x4 ranger. Xtreme Alloys Series 8069 Black Finish. Will these bolt right up and clear the calipers and everything? I want to go down to 15"s from my sixteens because of cost of tires and there are so many more options for a C load rated tire. I'm thinking 31x10.50x15 Nitto Dune Grapplers. All I do is pavement and Dune driving. Nitto Dune Grappler NTGDT

Should be fine.. That's what I'm running on my '07 right now (just a different model of wheel, but the specs are the same)

Ya, I had the 255/70R16's also... the 31's are very close in height (maybe 1/2 inch taller at most), and are a bit wider. I like them because it didn't throw off my speedometer at all.
With the 8" wheels and less backspace, they stick out more so they look a bit bigger. And it's definitely a rougher ride with the All-Terrains vs. the stock tires. Here's what it looks like: Attachment 130850 As for the 32's, I think they will fit with a T-bar crank. If you search, there are posts that say they will fit without any changes and others will say that you need to crank the t-bars or they rub a bit.... |
Truck looks good man and thanks for all your help. I'll have to think about the 32's but the 31's sound like they would work out perfect and it's all ready high geared in 1st even with the 4.10's so I really don't want it any higher geared than it is.

idk when i ran 15's i had trouble with weights on the inside of the wheel hitting the calipers.
but it didnt do it with my cragars. only with the 15" aluminum wheels i got after that. |
I've had the stick-on weights on my wheels before with no problems. But they were the low profile ones and the clearance was pretty tight. I would definitely ask the tire shop about this before having them balanced.
When I got new tires recently I went with the clip-on weights because there is a lot of corrosion on the inside of the wheels due to using them last winter.. I was worried that the weights wouldn't stick properly. |
they should fit fine
