New Ranger
Hello guys,
I am new to Ranger and this forum. I will buy a 2011 Ranger(XLT, super cab, 4 Cyl, manual) tomorrow. I will add leather seats, spray bed and chrome wheels. I need advice on wheels. 15" is stock and if I get this size I can use the OEM tires. I have read warnings about using oversize wheels that the truck was not designed for. Are the warnings in regards to braking and suspension real or just crap? Can't wait for the truck. Thanks for your help.
Uncletim.

I was unaware rangers are still being produced sadly to say.
I work at a dealership and we haven't sold a ranger in weeks. they are still fun as ever to drive. but you can order them with just about anything now days.
I think its awesome that you took delivery of a brand spankin new one. kudos.

Tim,
I also just picked up a 2011 ranger, I got the dealer to throw on some Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armours, I think they threw on 255/70/r16's. Personally I'm sticking close to a stock-size tire for a few years, I'll start messing around with bigger tires when I want to modify without voiding warranty.
