I sure hope that you had a typo in there somewhere becaise if you are running 11.5 inch wide tires on a 14 inch wide wheel then you have no clue what you are doing!

I would definitely want wider tires on those wheels, but it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.

heres the pics of my ranger on 15x12s The 15x14 are on its way 4wheelparts did it there sending it mounted on the rim 11.5 swampers like i said not in yet but my friend has the same tires and rims on his toyota will try to get pics

ScottG 12-27-2007 08:07 PM

so can you explain the reasoning of putting a 11.5 inch wide tire on a 14 inch rim?

I cant see any offroading gain out of it, yeah it fits, but why not put a wider tire or get a slimmer rim?

k.blakeley 12-27-2007 08:07 PM

We know that it CAN be done but use some common sense here,if all you wanting to run is 11.5 tire WHY do you need a 14in wide wheel? For one its very unsafe and people buy those wider wheels to run 17in wide tires, not 11.5. A 15x8 or 15x10 is perfect for a 11.5 wide tire.

k.blakeley 12-27-2007 08:10 PM

Doesn't look any better than my 15x10 with 12.5 in wide tires.

HighRollerII 12-27-2007 08:15 PM

but i will give you this..the truck looks good

zabeard 12-27-2007 08:23 PM

ok that does not look too bad but you are just making it even worse. what height tire?
