15x8 or 15x10 on my 99 4wd? Need opinions!

Hey guys I am planning to get a 3" body lift and I want to upgrade my wheels and tires. I am looking into some Eagle alloy 058's in a 15x8 and a 15x10. I like the way they look sticking out of the side and think it looks aggressive but I don't want to put a whole ton of stress on my suspension. Are 15x10's going to stress out my balljoints much more that a 15x8 with less of a negative offset? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I wouldnt think so. Will put more stress on the wheel bearings though. I learned to love my 10" rims and mine stick out quite a bit so its kinda a ***** to keep truck clean.

clean and truck shouldnt go together :sly:

do it! rangers with wider stances over stock look 10x better imo

I would honestly recommend 15x8's - you wont have to worry about tucking issues when flexing, it keeps the side of your truck from being dinged up - and a 15x8 with a proper offset gives the truck a little more height over a 15x10.. not much - but it is more height ;)

Well I got 15x8s just because I found a set on Craigslist for $125 so I couldn't pass them up! I can't wait to get them on the truck! Thanks for the input guys.

15 x 8, less pressure on the bearing packs.
You can get a 15 x 8 rim with 3.75 or 4” back spacing.
My truck runs 16 x 8 w/ 4” BS.

IMHO… the 8” rims gives the 12.5 tire a better look.

i have 10.5 wide wheels on my truck. they stick out a little but. it gives the truck a really mean looking and aggressive stance. i say go with 10's. go big or go home lol

Personally I like the look of 15X10's on a truck with flares and 15X8's on a truck without. I've had to replace one bearing since putting my 15x10's on but I think it had more to do with it having 70,000km on it already.

8's square up the tire more, 10's kinda round it out. in my opinion it depends on the trire and wheel combo
