good deal or not?

well i went to my local trusted goodyear shop (know the owners personally from yes thats right boy scouts) and got a price on wheels and tires.

so the wheel is the classic torque thrust with the grey on the inside and the chrome trim aound the outside in 16". the tires are 255/70/r16 Fortera silent armor with while letters.

now first of all do you think these would look good on my truck and second they game me a price of ~$1900 is that a good deal or should i try something else (thats price after all the labor and other junk u need for wheels and tires).

I could get 22s, 35 inch tires and a months payment on a truck for that price.

Those are expensive *** rims or somethin, try ebay and search "mustang rims" i guess.

Mustang rim's are the same lug pattern 5 on 4.5in or 5 on 114mm that is what you wanna look for. Also some jeep rim's will fit also.

I agree the price sounds high. I have never seen those rims on a Ranger before.

You would still need spacers up front, the ranger hubs stick out 2 far My last ranger had cobra r's and I had 2 put 1/2" spacer to get em on.

spacers aren't that expensive. It's probably just dealer prices. If you want a good deal, you're going to have to find it yourself. A local dealer cannot usually find a "good deal" like you can on the internet.

yea you see i don't realy want to put spacers on it becuase if for soem reason something gets screwed up suspension wise they can easily say that that was the cause for it and seeing as how well i'm still under warranty i don't want to have to take the chance

They cant get you for spacers unless the spacers fail. There's laws protecting you for that stuff. If you put a sticker on your bumper and it fell off, could Ford say its your fault because you put the sticker on? No, they have to prove it was cause of the sticker.

Spacers are sortof a nono to run though. They're a possibility of failure and its much better to find rims that work. I'd check ebay though, because 1900 is a lot of money. I'm sure you can find some great Ranger rims.
