235 60 15 alternatives?

Well its getting close to tire time once again. I have a 2002 Stepside 2wd, and looking for some other brands, type suggestions. Ive been going for the sport truck look I suppose.15 x 8 wheels and 235 60 15 tires. They stick out about 2 inches from the fender wells. Last two times Ive mounted Bfg Radials and have not had good use out of them and would like to explore other options. Im not sure if I want to keep the same tire size or get some type of bigger all terrain tire. What you guys would suggest for both? Thanks
