I have a 2004 ranger xlt 4x4 extended cab with the 6 foot bed, and asked on tire rack on live chat if I could put 265/75/16 on my ranger they told me that I would have to get a lift kit, any truth to that or is that a bogus answer ?

 

No sure my 2008 FX4 is stock except for tires the previous owner just put 265/75-16 on her and they fit fine zero clearance issues.
