Those with BFG M/T's

I am looking to Buy new tires, since I had alignment problems having to run factory control arms after my fabtech's got damaged in accident. anyway, that problem is fixed, but I need new tires. I looked on tirerack, and the BFG's didn't rate too well, I have the goodyear mtr's now, but don't really want to $hit out that kind of cash again. My wear and traction was really good until the accident. How do you guys feel about the bfg's? IE: mud/snow traction? wet traction all together? (My goodyear's do just about as well as my old bfg at's did in the rain) I know mt's don't always have good wet traction that's why I'm asking. And overall stability? treadwear? Sorry this is such a long post, but tirerack ranked them #8 out of 10 tires listed

I get great traction out of them.. no snow experience, but I've had em in sand, mud, and rain and they've done great. I've heard mudders aren't the best for rain, but as long as you have a wide footprint, you should be good..

i had the dunlop radial mudrovers, same design as the bfg, performed to every expectation i had.

My BFG M/Ts did pretty well in the snow this winter, and they've performed well in the rain, maybe a little more slick than the stock BFG ATs, but I'm very happy with them so far. They're wearing evenly, and the off road traction is MUCH better than the ATs.

I actually found a local tire shop that could get me the goodyears at a better price than the bfg's. I was really surprised. anyway gonna stick with the wranglers now, since I know they work, and I'm getting them $40 less each than i did paid last time. the bfg would have cost me about $35 more for the set.
