I think looks wise, the BFGs look best IMO. I have gotten so many compliments on my wheels and tires from strangers that its starting to get on my nerves. I guess thats a good problem to have.

also if your have black rims, the white letters need to be out in my opinion.

So you want to buy a MUD tire based purely on looks?

The tread on those wild countrys look alright, but my experience with their mud tires is that they get loud as hell, probably mostly due to the spacing between the outer lugs. The sidewalls also have almost no protection from rocks and stumps and stuff.

I got 31x10 Toyo Open Country M/T's on the ATX Chamber wheels in the same coating. I think its a good lookin tire and it grips like a son of gun in the mud and on the rocks

I have the 33x13.5 on my truck I have been very please with this tire. great city driving manners, wonderful on the freeway. they have been only balanced once and have quiet a few miles on them they are wearing great. have done great in mud up north and loved them in the sand. I haven't been let down at all by these they are a very good mud tire in the rain too.

If you don't actually do any mudding or do very little I would suggest an all terrain. Mud tires do horrible on ice and packed snow. They city/highway manners generally suck. They don't wear well.

All-Terrains would be the way to go.

If anything do General Grabbers. Or I guess the Toyo Open Countrys since Zach says they are good.

i've made it up a long steep driveway in 2wd with my old tires last year so im going to have to disagree that a mud terrain does bad on packed snow
....even won a bet because my friend said i couldn't make it lol

Nice. I am just saying from what I have read and heard from others. Obviously I have never run an Mud tires. Heck, I've even run A/Ts!! It's really a hit or miss with M/Ts. I would be comfortable with the BFG Mud Terrains in snow because I know they do well. As far as others, I've never has any experience.

I'm defiantly getting my BFG A/Ts sipped though.

This is a stupid blanket statement that you are obviously not making from experience. Old people just like to say this because they had a friend 40 years ago with crappy mud tires that were terrible. It's 2010 and there are a BUNCH of mud tires that work great in snow and ice, great on the road and wear very well.

I run mud tires here in north dakota, they eat the snow for breakfast and do also well on packed snow..

on ice well, everyone has to learn to drive on ice,,

but the ones I posted clean the lugs well, hell I went thru 4' of drift the other day, got stuck in 2 wheel, kicked it into 4 a little rocking and the mud tires ate right thru the snow..

http://i55.tinypic.com/4htell.jpg

not a very good pic but you can see where I got stuck and that the mud tires ate all the way thru to the dirt to get me out..
