31 BFG M/T's and A/T's
Anyone have some pictures of some 31x10.50x15 BFG M/T's?? And maybe perhaps give me a little information on them , like some pros and cons to them? That would be great.. and maybe if someone has a picture of some 31x10.50x15 A/T's with the pros and cons that would be great. im getting either brand and im just curious how people are liking/hating the tire. Thanks again.

ummm...hmmmmm....
Pro: BFG All-Terrain KO 31x10.50x15s are stock on the FX4 Level II package (and now stock on both FX4 packages, I believe, as of model year 2006).
Cons: I need a new set or need another 2 weeks to go by, giving me another paycheck, so I can afford a lift for the BFG AT 33x12.50x15s I have in my living room closet.

31" x 10.50" r15 BFG at's
I thought I had more on photobucket... but I don't... and I'm too sleepy to upload new ones...
Pro: Awesome traction off-road (from my experience)... great in sand... they have a mildly agressive look to them which is nice. Good wet street traction...
Cons:Non so far, but I haven't taken them out much... once it cools off in the local deserts I will be able to get some good off-road usage out of them...
I really like BFG's mt's... I think they look awesome and look like they would grip really well in all kinds of stuff.... but I heard they SUCK on wet pavement...
If I had the engine to push them... I think my next set of tires would be 33" BFG mt's...

My 2004 FX4 Level II came with 31x10.50x15 BFG A/T's stock and I love them. I now have them sitting in my basement with about 1/3 tread left and just put on a new set of 32x11.50x15 BFG A/T's. Went up a size to fill in the fender gaps a little and I don't need a lift with that size. The first set I took off with 33K miles left on them and they still did very well offroad in the slimy mud. If they gum up a little I just stab the throttle and they clean very well not to mention you take off like a rocket wherever the tires are pointed. I have heard of people getting over 100K out of a set but I guess I would have gotten 45-50K out of mine and I drive pretty hard. With the M/T's you will have more road noise, quicker tread wear, less wet, snow, and ice traction with only slightly better mud traction. The M/Ts do have a more aggressive look which I like but some people dont. I don't have any photos to show you at the moment cuz I can never get pictures to upload on here for some reason and I don't have any pics of the 32's yet.
