31's to 33's..

can i get bfg all terrains 33's to fit on the stock 01 xlt rims? someone said i need to get new ones that are wider. these are my stock wheels

You are fine with 285/75R16 (approx 33") on your stock rims. Crank them bars are your fine.

mine are 15'' rims i believe. idunno maybe. i have never really payed attention to it. haha. plus the truck is sitting in a friends backyard right now. just waiting to put the lift on. plus i gotta get it insured. wifey says i cant drive it til i do haha. lame.

As long as you get 10" wide tires and not the 12.5's you should be good.

damn. the tires that are on it are not wide at all. i would like to get somethign that is wider than those. so im hoping that i can fit some decently wide or at least wider 33s on there if not ill just buy some new wheels

if you want something wider then you need at least an 8 inch wheel, if you want 33x12.5x15's then maybe even a 10 inch wheel is going to be good for you.

a cheap rim would be a steal one like rockcrawlers or daytonas they come in like all sizes and are all under 100 bux per rim but you will def. need wider rims to run a 33x12.5
