spacer/offset question

spacer/offset question
Okay, I think we're gonna go with a 3" BL and 33x12.5x15s.
A couple of questions though.
1. Do we need 10" wheels or are 8" okay?
2. Spacers? Pro, con, ideas?
3. What about a spacer, and a wheel with an offset in instead of out. That way, I get a little wider stance with the spacer, but not a double wide with the spaceer + the wheel offset. Or am I way overthinking this (most likely).
And finally a couple of pics, if this works.

1a: The only time I'd suggest considering 10" wheels is when you're "double lifting" aka suspension lift + bodylift. They're sort of a hassle unless you're towering your tires.
1b: 8's are perfect for a single lift. Perfect backspace specs are 3.5" to 4" and it'll put the tire just outside the fender on a non-flared truck. Beefy enough for a mean stance.
2: Spacers are stupid idea. They have their place and needs, but not when you can get wheels that meet your specs.
3: Little confused with #3....but you don't want a positive offset wheel. You want a negative offset wheel....and those are all RWD/truck type wheels. Negative offset are "sticking out" compared to positive offset which are more like car wheels.
