yes it can be done and just fine...
you guys crack me up "safer?!?!" on wider um no.. better wear yes but there is no safety issue with running 15x7 and the one who said dont air down um what.... you have more problems with wider rims like 15x10 then 15x7 you can go father down with PSI because the bead has less of a chance to pop....

he is saying on a 7 inch rim there is more pressure on the bead when airing down that keeps the bead seated as apposed to a 10 inch rim the only thing holding the bead on is the air so when you air down for wheeling there isnt much pressure pushing out to hold the bead, i had 33x12.50's on my stock rims and it was fine, but they did rub when hitting bigger bumps because i only have a 3" body lift.

nothing wrong with that setup, just not my preference any more. like justin said you get that psi under 12 with that wide of a rim its gonna pop

rethink your statement real good then edit your post with proper grammar this time.
here i'll do it for you.
take a 12.5 inch tire, imagine said tire on a 10 inch wheel, the sidewalls are going to be spread out thus allowing the outer edges of the tire to make contact with the road, now imagine the same tire on a 7 inch wheel, the wheel is going to pull the sidewalls very close together thus only allowing the center of the tread to contact the road (maybe 60% contact). putting 60 PSI in it is only going to make it worse, if i had 12.5 inch tires on 7 inch wheels (i would never do this) the max PSI i would run would be 25 PSI.
