33 r16 or r15

so really i had no idea about standard wheel sizing and am just trying to get my head around everything before i buy i keep hearing get 33s with a 3in bl never knew what the 33 meant basically its from the ground to top of the tire correct so a 15 or a 16 wouldnt make a difference also looking at widths what width rim would i need to run a 12.5in wide tire does it matter 8in or 10in should prolly go to a tire shop and order threw them to avoid mismatching tires and rims... i really like these

Ultra Type 164 Polished

15*8

will a 33x/12.5/r15 fit these tires

and would tires be cheaper if i got 16in rims

im running 33x12.50s on a 15x8 rim. no problems and its probably the most ideal setup for 33x12.50s

tires are cheaper for 15 inch rims than 16s.

a 33 is a 33 tho right you'd think it would be cheaper because its less material

No, I realize how your saying it makes more sense but no in fact, if the rim is a smaller diameter than the tire is cheaper. a 33x12.5 on 15 inch rims will be cheaper than a 16, 17, 18 etc inch rim. There is technically less tire there correct, but for the bigger rims, more has to be considered and made sure so that the tire performs just as good on any size rim if that makes sense. just def go 15's for 33's on a ranger.

33's on stock rim would work just don't go over 12.50 on your stock rims, and getting tires for 15in rims are useally cheaper but the the bigger the tire/rim the more money youre gonna spend

i cant even understand what you wrote but it all depends on the tires you get you can have 14's with a fatter tire get worse milage than a 15 or 16 with smaller tires
