Chris I think your problem is with your rims.. You have too little backspacing and the tires are pushed out too much. i have the same size tires you do and it looks like the same clearance but mine tuck nicely behind the flares.. My backspaces is either 4.00" or 4.50" i can't recall... Heres a picture kind of showing the clearance..

with these rims i've NEVER had a problem with hitting my flares.. with my current or old tires..

33x10.50x15...with the deavers in place I rarely have any issues with the tires catching on the flares. The rims are Eagle Alloy Series 185 15x8. 10.50 inch tires are meant for 7-9 inch rims. An 8.5 inch rim will yield 10.50 inch footprint, at least according to BFG. Plus they are lighter and thus less wear and tear on your suspension components versus a 12.50 inch tire! They [10.50s] also don't look like a small truck hi-jacked tires from the goodyear blimp

ive still got my stock wheels,
i think im going to put either a 33x10.50 bfg like LEFTY
or a 34x11.50 bogger for wheeling

im prolly gonna put an all terrain tire on my stock rims for a little bit, or just sell them, i like the XD wheels anyways

Stock ones are probably the same size as the factory ford ones.
