How the heck do you get those lug nut caps off the newer rangers??? It's funny because I've torn half my dodge neon's engine apart back in the day to work on it, but am getting embarrassed because I can't even get the lug nut cap off my ranger without scratching the rims. Is there a secret?

I use two flathead screwdrivers. Works great for me, no scratches

ive always used the stock jack handle. It has a protector on it from scratching the rim

 

I got a mini pry bar from sears $5, no scratches. When you get them off cut two of the cup things, that latch to the lugs off. So its easier to pull next time. You can use two screw drivers and wrap them in electrical tape.
