????What size tires do I want to get here????

OK, I just ordered my rims, Here they are:

18*9 Gunmetal Saleen Rims
5*4.5 or for the no brainers = 5 * 114.3

NOW on to the good part!

What size tire would ya'll reccomend doing for this? Let me know what you guys think and I will see if I like it or not!

Is 255/55-18 a pretty decent size?

Looking at these:

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2

Thanks in advance ya'll!

Do you plan to lower it slightly within the next few months? Get 255/45/18.

27" overall diameter....not too small, but small enough that the rotational inertia of the wheel won't cause you to accelerate/turn too slowly.

Should look really good.

stock tremor tires are what, a 29? i think 18s with a 27" diameter would look too small on a stock height truck

also, you most likely will have to run a spacer to get those to fit over the hubs, not sure on the tremor model though, but on an xlt 4x2 will need them

He is taking the spindle lift off and bodylift and making it a "street" truck.

Brian I am still thinking about the stock spindles

go with at least a 45 or 50 series profile tire, no bigger then 60. They will have a little more rubber on the sidewall, for those big burnouts

I toyed with that idea myself....
