????What size tires do I want to get here????
OK, I just ordered my rims, Here they are:
18*9 Gunmetal Saleen Rims
5*4.5 or for the no brainers = 5 * 114.3
NOW on to the good part!
What size tire would ya'll reccomend doing for this? Let me know what you guys think and I will see if I like it or not!
Is 255/55-18 a pretty decent size?
Looking at these:
BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2
Thanks in advance ya'll!

27" overall diameter....not too small, but small enough that the rotational inertia of the wheel won't cause you to accelerate/turn too slowly.
Should look really good.

stock tremor tires are what, a 29? i think 18s with a 27" diameter would look too small on a stock height truck
also, you most likely will have to run a spacer to get those to fit over the hubs, not sure on the tremor model though, but on an xlt 4x2 will need them

I went with a 28 inch tire ( 255/55/17 ). 27inchers looked too damn small. I've taken 4 inches out of the front factory ride height. If your gonna go with a FACTORY height, this is what 28 inch tires look like -- >

I would suggest a tire that will be ' even ' through out the wheel well 28-29 inches ( no smaller ). If your going to drop it under the factory height and feel like planning ahead, maybe a small tire purchased ahead of time will work for ya.. but you have to live with it being fugly till you drop it.
Edit: Went back and saw the 255/55/18 tire size. Good tires. I had a set and they performed really well. They are roughly the same size as a factory set of tires ( 29inches ) .
Your going to need half inch adapters to clear the grease covers in front.
You COULD cheat ( as I'm going to ) and shorten the spindles threaded length by a half inch and crush the grease caps a bit so the wheel cover will fit ( nobody will see it ) and you'll still have a good half inch of thread after the wheelberring/jam nut . Something to think about instead of spacers.

or grease the crap out of it and run without a grease cap, thats what i have on my truck inorder to get the center caps to fit
