i dont get what your trying to proove. if you bumpstopped it better it wouldnt come so close to your fender wells...

ya i agree that he shouldnt go 37's if he wants to wheel...but that pic isnt imo what should be his decision maker.

edit. see how negetively arched your leafs are anyways? ya, you should bumpstop it if you want those leafs to last.

I'm not trying to prove anything... I'm just showing that 37's will not stuff... him having flares will make it that much worse.

Those leafs were the stockers they were already shot to hell anyway... I already had my lift ones when I took those pics so I didn't care either way. lol

i was thinking about going with a set of 36's but after alot of thought, i think im gona go with 37x13.50x15 interco m16's and just trim the back of my flares if i have to and also put 4.88's under it

37x13.50s on an IFS Ranger huh... Good luck with that. Hopefully you really enjoy replacing front end parts on that truck, terrible braking and a sh!tty ride. I would be going to 5.13s (if they make them for the front?) as well. With 37x13.50s and 4.88s it will be a dog, and likely wouldn't actually have the power to spin them in any kind of mud or anything. The tires will rub, especially if you actually wheel the truck at all. If you don't, that makes it all even more ridiculous and they will probably still rub when you turn.

Personally I would bring the front end down to a reasonable level so the suspension can actually work, and run 35s on 4.88 gears. The truck will at least be more functional, ride a lot better and be a 'little' easier on the suspension, but that's me. It would look a lot better too. If you just want to have a big truck to look cool I think you should have started with a bigger truck.

You asked for opinions, that's mine. Nothing personal.

i think you will be good... your obviously gonna run through parts on the fornt, but 35s are going to do it too. obviously you will need gears, i think 4.88's will be ok as long as your not going with a swamper or somthing heavy like that.

x2! x2! x2! x2! x2! x2! x2 on everything this man Brian says! He speaks the truth!! lol.

Only reason folks get/got away with 35's on a BL or 33's on stock or 37's on dbl is the sucked in 8" wheels....no 10" crap. And even then, it's iffy as all hell wheelin' it if you care about your body. I have a hard enough time being doubled on 35's with tagging the body.....I do it everytime I go out. Having lived with 35's on 10's, I LOVE LOVE LOVE CLEARING my tires rather than have them stuffed to the gills. Not only is it very very very streetable, I can actually make it do what I built it to do: have fun while keeping it a nice truck!

***And a little disclaimer to those who see differently... I really don't give a damn if you've got 33x12.50's and 10's on your stock truck. Or if you've got the metric equivilent of 35 on your BL'd truck.... stuffed tires are not fun. 32's on 8's were too big for me when I was stock and you'd be surprised the how much your tires actually move around in your fender. Caught me by surprise on all 4 fenders after a trip with the 32's. Then I said hello 1" BL. Summary: Just because you can, doesn't necessarily mean you should...

^ totally agree.

32's stock were rough.
my 35's rub a decent amount and im sas'ed lol. if my axle wasnt so far forward...my inner fender wells would NOT be present anymore. and im LUCKY my rear doesnt flex enough cuz then it'd be goodbye to my fiberglass bed...

i say do it if you dont wheel, no way if you do. If you start goin through wheel bearings etc.. then lesson learned. if not you pull it off.

I think our trucks just aren't big enough in general to look all that great with 37's, now if it were a jacked up F150 that'd be a different story. you can't get enough lift on a 98+ Ranger with any IFS lift kit to get comfortable clearance.
