97 ranger 2 whl drive 14in

I have a 97 Ranger xl with 14 inch rims, can I put 15 x 8 with 235 75 15 tires on it without any modifications, just a simple yes or no

Yes to the No, looks like 2WD came with 26", or less, diameter tires stock, 235 75 15 is 29" diameter
