Alcoa center caps on 98-99 4x4

I recently purchased a set of Alcoa's from a member and I didn't even think about the PVH hubs and the Alcoa center caps. I searched, but didn't come up with any useful information. I have an idea i'd like to try, but i'd also like some input if someone else with a 98-99 is running Alcoa's with center caps over the PVH hubs.

As you can see (clicky the link) in the second picture it shows the inside of the center cap. There is a "ring" around the inside and that's what hits the hub. I would imagine if I used a dremel on that I could get it to slip over the hub so I have center caps on the front. Anyone else try this or have any other ideas?

Well, i've managed to use the dremel and get that ring out but they still don't go down all the way. I think the hubs are simply just too big.

Finally got them to go on cutting it close around the lip at the top of them. Had to kind of force them to go on and they fit snug around the end of the hub. Hopefully they won't come off going down the road!
