Any 30X9.9R15's

I am going down to the tire shop to get some new tires put on my truck, right now i 225X70r15's on my truck, after reading the max tire size chart on the thread max tire size chart, I have decided to go with the 30X9.5R15's on my truck I ordered them yesterday and I have an appointment for tomorrow to get them put on. Does anybody have this size right now, and if so got any pics??????

that's what I have, I dont like how small they are. I belive the metric equivenlent is 235x70x15. I should have went with 265x70x15's that is what came on it from the factory.

itll look fine with your setup.. some people will say to go with 31's, but with a coil spring susp 30's will be fine..

Ok got the new tires on, defiantly made the truck look different going from a 225/70 to a 30/9.5. I like it, but i honestly think i could have gone taller and wider, but after spending all the money i am perfectly content the way it is right now

Hey can you do some side view shots? Im in the same boat as you, I want some bigger tires and a 30x9.5x15 is what they say will fit. If you can take more pics please! Yes before and after shots if you have them!

I was thinking of going 265x70x15 since :

31x10.5x15 = 276x76x15 (and rubs)
265x70x15 < 276x76x15 and
30x9.5x15 = 241x79x15

irons1n, im pretty sure you could fit 31's on the 04 i thought they came stock nowadays on the newer rangers . but the best way to find out what fits is your truck manual. that usually tells you how big you can go. at least mine did.

Oh well with 2wd mine came stock with 225x75x15s.... The sticky on here says 31s will rub but he said he would have gone bigger then 30's... I still want 31s though.

for sure looks better with the bigger tires, I was set on 30s but I might just go 31s and deal with the rubbing!

does anyone out there that has 31's on stock suspension wanna detail how extensive the rubbing is? i mean i know it has breifly been adressed, but i kinda want more experiential details, like how often in your usual driving situation does it rub, i mean how often are we really at full lock, etc, when we drive?

i run 31's on stock suspension, but i also have a 4x4, what kind of truck you have ? 4x2 4x4? and i drive 40 miles a day each day mon-sun maybe a little more on weekends and have no problems if thats what your asking. and i have a good amount of room in the wheel wells so it doesnt rub.

Edit: Also, there is a tire chart right above this thread, very helpful you might find the answers you're looking for there.
