Cobra wheel question

I know there are guys on here running this type of rim on their ranger but i tried to price them out through work, and the french people told me that they would not fit a ranger unless i had at least a 1 inch adaptor which i told them i knew i might need, and even then they said that it is very possible that they would not fit.....is it me or are they just trying to not sell product?
