tire and rims size question?

tire and rims size question?
I am wondering if 31- 10.5 tires will fit 8.5 and 6.5 inch rims ?
I took off my 20's and want some bigger tire than the stock 235/75/15
what size rim width will work?

i have 31x10.50s on a 15x8 rim. works fine

do you think they would fit the 15x6.5,s? or would they be too narrow.?

i wouldent go smaller than 15x7 which was what my stock rims were
