Balenecd 35's needs lots of weight

So I had a set of american eagle alloys in my basement which I was planning on putting 33's on until I saw 034x4's 35's for sale which were already on black rock crawler rims. So I figured why not I have the american eagles I might as well use them So I had the tires balenced, well remounted on my american eagle alloys and balenced.

One tire was 11.5 ozs out of balence, one was 13 ozs out, one kept asking for more weight after like 14 ozs the guy got it within 0.5 ounce and I forget how bad the other one was.

Normal ? I know big tires sometimes need alot of weight but I was not expecting 14 ozs

Steel wheels require alot of weight, its not just the big tire. They are extremely hard to balance, I had the same problem on my rockcrawlers, even when the 31's were on them.

Tires are now on my alloy wheels.

My alloys have a bit of weights on them, Most I think on one is about 7oz I think. Maybe its possible that the steelies weren't weighted right, and that took its toll on the tires, now you're dealing with the after effect.

two of my 35s took 10 oz, but the others only took 5 oz ... even then 5 oz is alot... but something you have to think about when you get such a big tire.

i dont know how much my rock crawlers with 31's took but its a lot... and it still isnt balanced right

Make him balance it out to 0. I balanced mine myself and they all balance to 0. Those big of a tire even .25 oz out will cause a bad vibration in the truck. They can be balanced out i have done it about 5 times now......

same here.... you can balance them out to zero, you just have to know what you are doing... I'd take it back as well....
