BFG's with Classic II's

Ok so ive done hours of searching and reading and ive decided im going to buy some mickey thompson Classic II 15x10's. Ive also decided i want to buy some BFG Mud terrain 33' 10.50's. On the tire description is says that the maximum rim width i supposed to use for the tires is 9, am i going to have to go and buy some 33 12.50's or is summit ****in me and i really can fit the BFG's on the 10' rim. The reason i want the 10.50' tires is because i dont really like the look of the tires sticking out so far. If you can help i will appreciate it.

id go with an 8" rim, your wheel bearings will love you longer than they would than with a 10". Also, a 10.50" tire on a 10" rim barely has much room to stay "seated" its lieable(wow butchered that word) to pop the bead off, or cause really unusual wear. 15x8 and a 10.50 is a very commn setup, next would be a 15x8 and 12.50, then 15x10 and 12.50.

just a lil help, hopefully someone else can shed some more light on your topic

if you want to have 33x10.5 better get 8 inch wide wheels.

personally i would get 15x8 with 33x12.5

gonna lift it?

it will look fine with an 8" wheel, also you wont loose as much power by runnin the 10.50 over the 12.50. the wider the tire the more power you loose.

too bad you cant get classic IIs in 3.75 they only come in 3-5/16" backspacing in 8 inch wheel and 3-5/8" backspacing in a 10 inch wheel.
