Biggest tire on 16x7s?

Alright, first 2005 edge that's about to have 3" spindles and the AAL. With all this I'm not going to have enough money to buy rims so I'm looking for the absolute biggest tire size for my stock rims. I was looking at the tire-size chart and 285x75x16's was the biggest. Is this the equivalent to 33x10.5 for the 15" rims? And If so, is there anyone with pictures, any opinions, do they look too skinny? Let me know. I want to get the right tire size so I don't have to ride around too long with my 265's under a 3" lift. Thanks in advance.

285's are the same as 33's height wise, im not sure on the width though cause those numbers confuse me, idk how much bigger you would want to go with a 7 inch wide rim but im sure you could, the only person that i can think of off the top of my head that has 285's on stock 16's is LORDOFWAR, im sure there are other but i cant think of any......

there a

32.83x11.22x16

personally how much do you have to spend? honistly cause if you get a decent tire your looking at $790ish easy for a set of BFG A/T 285x75x16 and around $730ish for a set of procomp tires.

personally save another $150ish and get a whole set of 15x8 and new tires for cheaper.... you can get under $400 for the set of wheels and somewhere around $600 for a set of 33x12.5....

285's are to wide for the 16x7 so you would need a 16x8 rim...they will fit but they will wear out the centers real quick
