Road hazzard stuff?

well if you ever bought new tires they usually ask if you want the road hazzard and stuff like new stems etc basically i want to know if you guys suggest getting it?

for 150 bucks i would get this

Lifetime Wheel balance : 40 bucks

short valve stem : 10 bucks

scrap tire disposal : 6 bucks

road hazzard : 32 bucks

and labor is 47 bucks but i have to get that no matter what

for all of this my total for new BF goodrich A/T's 245/75/r16 it would
cost 751.53

now with out all that crap and just labor it would cost 651 so i'd be saving about 100 bucks

road hazzard is over rated.......and with new tires you should get new valve stems.....and let them dispose of the tires......

you could probably find the tires cheaper from either www.summitracing.com or www.tirerack.com and then find a mom and pop shop that will mount and balance for $15-$20 each tire....

i had road hazzard on EVERY tire i buy new.

Because for the price of sales tax, you get a BRAND NEW TIRE to replace yours.

On the ranger, i had 2 replaced, one had a wire break and come out the sidewall, and the over had a crack around it from too much powerbraking (wasnt supposed to be covered, but they did it anyway) And on the wifes car, i hit a curb and took a chunk off the sidewall and it got replaced.

So for me, thats three tires replaced for about 14 bucks each. Thats ALOT better then paying 100+ per tire for new ones.

I always buy it. I drive off-road and through the city all the time. Nails, screws, blowouts, and sidewall slashes from rocks were all free replacements. My family has saved some serious $$$ thanks to Discount Tire and their warrenty. If I get a flat I don't care because it's a free replacement and maybe $20 for a new warrenty.

cheapest i have found is 151.95 and the road hazzard does not give you new tires it just fixes it with a plug if they can... thats why im thinking its not worth it.

Its Worth It. I have had used it a couple times now my parents and i always buy our times from sams club. the first time my mom hit a curb with her van and poped the tire so we changed it and went to sams they had to give us a penny for the new tire lol the second time my dads tires on his nissan altima wouldnt pass inspection and they only had 20,000 on 60,000 mile tires so he got 2 for the price of one. then my moms van needed 4 new tires and we got 4 tires for the price of 2 just the price of the tire not the whole package so we have made out very well and then again with my dads car we had it done again. but i know someone is guna come along and say is your car alined and all that yes they get alined the same day they get new tires everytime. so yes i think it is worth it i would spend the extra 100 bucks we have probly saved over 300 on tires just from that.
