35 inch tires
so i have a bl on my 03 4x4 right now. I had 33 x 12.5 mtrs on for a while, and had no issues. My question is if i put new fiberglass fenders on the front and new aals in the back would i be able to run 35 x 12.5s? would these big tires wear out my stock steering components ? power loss? thanks dudes...

4.56 would be ideal with your situation...

check out andys (interceptors) truck. He has a BL, t-bars cranked, and a form of aals and 35's (no glass)

i get the same mpg as bill and he has 4.10s with a manual.
i dont think mine is out of DD range. im still gettign the factory rated city MPG for my truck.
only place bill will get me is on long highway trips with high speeds involved.
i think gearing is a must, but some people can handle the slower speeds.
there is a fine line between boggin the engine, optimum mpg, and too many rpms. the SOHC likes a little more rpm.
but then agian i could really careless what mpg i get. which is why i wanted the torque back, becasue i have a lead foot
