Can I Fit 33's On My Stock Ranger?
Hey what up? Ok, heres the scoop, I have a 2000 XLT 4X4 OffRoad Pkg, right now, its got 31" - 10.50" on it. Can I fit 33"s on this without a lift or a t-bar crank. My old man is pretty set on NO LIFT policy, so im just trying to figure out what the biggest set of wheels i can fit on here without a lift or the t-bar crank? Any and all help is much appreciated!
Thanks and Peace from BG |
no it will rub, and you will need a torsion crank and bumper vallance trimming
Yes you can. 33/10.5/15 and 265/75/16 both fit on stock Edge and 4x4 models.
im talking bout a 33x12.5 on a 15x8 or 15x10 rim, it will rub, there is a thread that redneckstone made on tire fittings somewhere
He didn't ask about a 33/12.5 though.. just a 33 ;)
Ok, so your saying that if i wanted to put 265/75r16 BFG All-Terrain T/AŽ KO's on my ranger, i could without a lift of anykind? cuz that would be perfect!
a 265 is pretty much a 31...youde be buying the same tire you have....I have 265's on my truck soon to be 285's tomorrow
So whats the diff between a 265 and a 245?
about an inch....245 = 30.4 265= About a 31.6 285 = 32.5ish
And im assuming a 285 needs atleast a t-bar crank?
ill be able to tell you tomorrow lol
Good deed! I just called a tire store, and they told me, that a 265 would, should, fit w/o lift or rubbing, and that a 285, would need a lift, and will likely rub on a stock ranger. So i think im going with the 265's! So whats the damage gonna be for you, where you getting them from. They tellin me, $924.00 out the door, i can get them much cheaper off Summit.
285's will go on without a lift, minor rubbing, i got 265's for $535 mounted and balanced, Yokohama Geolander AT II
you can fit 35's on an edge with a t bar crank.. i did it.. minor rubing...
try this link to tell you what size is comparabletire conversion
they didnt fit on mine, they rubbed on the mud flap
This is someone's truck that is a member of the boards. I forget his name though. :x
I believe they are 33x1250R15 BFG AT KO's with only a t-bar crank. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...99_70_full.jpg |
