First off, Do I need to run wheel weights on the alcoas? (Im thinking yes, correct me if I am wrong).

Second, Where do I find wheel weights for them?

Third, Dude these BFG Long trail AT's suck (YouKnowWhat) Any suggestion on what to get thats in a really good price range? (Really good being 135 or less)

 

autoparts store might be able to help with the weights. you can put them on the old fashion way, with a bubble balancer, best way though is to spin balance. tires though, you might need to raise your budget, 50 to 100 bucks, on a set.

 

Tire places will have them when you get them balenced. Get them to use stick on weights on the inside of the wheel.

 

since your truck is an 04, it has the larger brakes....you will need to run hammer on weights on the inside and then you can use the stick on (chicklet) weights just behind the face of the rim. If you run stick ons right next to the inner lip, the caliper will remove them

...or you can just set the wheel balance to a "static" balance setting and it will only require that you use hammer on type weights on the inside, and no weights anywhere else on the wheel. Personally I can't tell much difference between a traditional "dynamic" balance and the static balance at 65mph. And a static balance usually requires less weight.

 

when you keep going larger with the tires you can tell a big difference with static and dynamic. I will only static balance if the tire is under 30" tall...thats just me though
