Can my ranger handle 32's-33's?

After I get a lift for my ranger I wanted to put a larger tire on it. I was curious if my little 4 cylinder would be able to handle 32's or 33's without sacrificing performance horribly? I wasn't sure whether to post this under here or 4-cylinder tech. Anywho,
Thanks in advance.

It will. Do you plan on doing a gear swap?

I hadn't planned on it, I know next to nothing about vehicles though. Would you recommend doing a gear swap?

I don't think it will be a necessity, but it will help.

Do you know what your gear ratio is now?

you should be fine with 4.10s...4.56s would be ideal though

I ran 33's on my 2.5L with 3.73 gears and it was bearable. Then I upgraded to 4.10's and it was good with the 33's.

When I had 31's and 3.73's, I had a hard time holding highway speeds. I dropped to 4.10's and now have the 32's and its great. You have an automatic though so you might want to go 4.56.
