Icon10 Tire Noob

So I will be perfectly honest... I know almost nothing about tires... Im looking at getting Mickey Thompson Signiture Sieres Wheels wrapped in 35" BFG TA KO's but the problem I am having is I do not know what the 12.50 stands for in the 35X12.50R15.... The wheels im looking at are 15x8's with 3.3125 back spacing... Thanks in advanced

the tires you see in my pic are 35x1250-15 Mickey Thompson MTZs, amazing tires. the BFG Muds are also a great performing tire.

35s are gonna rub like hell if you decide you want to turn
you only have a BL and you got flares
ive stuffed my bfg at 33s (smaller than normal 33s) and touched the flare so with that extra inch you flare will pop right off
