When i was running 7/16inch spacers for my cobra wheel, i would check them every ~200miles or so. If any needed tightening, the torque wrench would move about an inch to tighten to spec. But for the most part, no problems with spacers.

I haven't found my lugs loose yet, but I slightly over torque them as well. I'm running 1/2" spacers.

There is many guys running 1.5" spacer on their Jeeps in order to keep the stock wheels without a problems. I know a lot of those guys have 20 plus thousand miles on them. I will be running a set next week and everything I have read says to use loctite when installing them.

Is there any way I wouldn't have to run spacers with this style wheel?

clayton your awesome!, he always backs me up because he sees my truck everyday at school. yea you will probably have to run a wheel adapter to fit your truck. mines a 1.25 spacer and it works fine. the back wheel lugs stick out a little past the spacer but the rims have a hollow part where the lugs csn go through without a problem
