33x11.50x15

Are there any of these out there besides the Thornbirds? Justin reffered these to me and seemed like a good idea. The reasons i want this size:

1. Can do w/o BL

2. Can do on stock rims

3. Still big/tall tires.

I really dont have the money for all new wheels, let alone tires, that will be tough, but i DO need new ones. This is just an option, if all else fails, i will just go 32". Just thought this was a good alternative of a tight budget while still needing bigger tires, while still having the option of adding a BL and wheels down the road.

Also, these i think would be slightly better in snow with the decreased width. just my 2 cents tho.

Good idea, I've been looking for a set too. I honestly have not heard of anything good concerning the thornbirds. They are the only tire that I have found in that size.
If you are getting the Thornbirds, make sure you test fit them if you can. Interco's usually measure bigger than they advertise, and those 'Birds have that one really wide lug that pops up every second/third tread bar. It might get in the way.

If it was my truck, then I would just get either 33x10.5-15's or 32x11.5-15's. Alot more choices.

Four Wheeler Magazine voted them the most useless offroad tire. they suck onroad and offroad. they just look good.

good luck finding a set though, thats an odd size. check into some cheaper tires like coopers or some of their other brands, maybe you'll get lucky

yeah i get what your saying. Ive never really even seen a set before. Anyone have pics of them of a truck? Just for kicks and giggles.

I think i might go with the Mastercraft Courser MT in a 32. Keep changing my mind haha. but these look on the cheap side, while retaining quality.

A 285/75/R16 (32.X11.50)will fit fine on your stock wheel, little bit of tire bulge but not to bad.. A t-bar crank and some slight triming may be nessisary to get them to not rub in stock form.. An 8" wide rim would be more desireable..

O yeah Thornbirds suck monkey *****..

When you do go shopping for new tires consider the weight of the tire as well.. Less rolling mass the truck has to try to get moving the better..

Or try a 33x10.5 they are common. and a little cheaper.

32x11.5 will be more than a 33x12.5

33x11.50 sure is an odd size...

imo....if you want tall, go with 33x10.50. You can run 'em on your stock wheels if you'd like. OR....if you want taller but fatter, go with a 32x11.50. Prices should be within $15 each difference.

mikerider is cranked bars and 33x10.50's on stock 15x7's....
