cooper discoverer STT
I bought the sport trac, and was itching to get gears, lockers, roof rack, receivers, etc so I sold the ranger, it had 140k miles on it. But it was in great condition for the most part. The suspension was getting tired but it was a perfect SAS candidate. I always told myself that when I got another truck I would keep it an SAS it and make it a trail rig.
lol wow, I didn't see this thread.
I EFFING LOVE THEM. They look awesome, they have a fantastic and smooth ride on the highway, they are great in the snow, dirt and mud and basically I can't find any negatives on them. By far the best set of tires I have ever spent money on.

Had them since November and have put over 5000 miles on them. Still look like new. They're a little noisy on the highway, but only noticeable with the window down. Inside the cab it's quiet and can't hear them over the radio at a normal volume. I do mostly highway driving, so my speeds are usually 50-75mph with them.
I'm very impressed with them. They ride and handle like an all season radial tire and doesn't feel like you've got big knobby tires on.
They are good in deep pack snow, but on light snow and ice they aren't that great, since they are a hard compound and not soft like a snow tire to give you that extra grip, however airing down will help. I drove all winter on them at 35psi all around and stayed in 2wd for 99% of my driving.
My dad has 255/70/16 Cooper Discoverers (just the regular LTR Discoverer all seasons) on his B4000 and my mom has 205/75/15 Discoverer ATR's on her Kia Sportage.

I bought it second hand. An old old member here had it custom made by badlandbumpers.com in Seattle. Probably $700-800 range when he had it built. They normally only do yota stuff so I guess he had a hard time convincing them to do it...?
