I tried putting one of my 15" Jeep wheels on my 2003 FX4 and they didn't fit. They hit the ball joint. Is there any other 15" wheel that will fit on my truck? My goal is to get a wheel with less than 4.0" backspacing so the wheels aren't so tucked into the wheel wells. I'd prefer to keep the tire height the same as stock (31"). I either need a 16" aluminum wheel with about 3.5" backspacing, which doesn't exist, or find a 15" aluminum wheel that doesn't rub. Anyone know what I should do?

 

Either use a spacer or find some 15" rims with 3.5" BS

 

15x8 with 3.75" backspacing. Very popular wheel size. And it works perfect.
