I think tires plus wheels but I don't want the tires. How would they do in mud and snow compared to a BFG A/T?

dude break bank and invest in all new tires. the money you spend on used tires that u have no real idea what they have been thru could go towards brand spanking new tires. if something happens and you need to buy new ones youll be pissed you spent money on b/s tires that didnt last you long. with new tires youll get a warranty, with used...something blows up your up sh**s creek without a paddle and out 150 bucks

trust me ive gotten tires from graigs list and i ended up buying new tires not even 3 months later when they looked "almost new"

he says 98% tread left. i would think they are pretty new. obviously they aren't the best performing tire, but $150 is cheap. If it were me, I'd want whats best for my truck, which would be better tires.

Ok, I get it. You guys want me to buy better new tires. I can't do that right now. I am a freshman in college. I just want to know if these will get the job done for 4 or 5 years until I get out of college and get new ones. I don't want to spend a lot since most of it goes to college. I am not gonna wait tll I get out of college to put my 3 inch lift kit on and bigger tires.

Will these be decent in snow and the occasional off roading (maybe once ever two months)?

No one on here besides maybe 1 or 2 guys runs them so we really can't tell you. Make sure to look over them carefully for dry rot and plugs, don't want to get screwed. Why can't you just wait like 6 months and save up some more to get some nice tires that you'll be happy with? I know that I would be kicking myself after 6 months for not getting the tires I wanted in the first place theres no way I could ride on them for 4-5 years.

So, could I mount those on my truck right now without the 3 inch body lift? As long as I say on the road and don't go through no big holes?

my worry would be they are a LT tire which implys the ply of the tire is much higher than what is currently on your truck, could be 4,6, 8, etc...

your truck has P series tires on it now i bet. i know it came with them stock. i would stick to P series tires or you better expect to get worse mpg and a rougher ride

Check the date of manufacture. They might have dry rot or something.

Also remember: rubber is the most important thing on your truck, its what can spell the difference between life and death. Your riding on these all day long, no matter where you drive. Unlike alot of other things that you can hear when they start to go bad, a blowout at highway speeds often results in very serious injury or death. Do you want to use that college education, if so, save cash and get new tires. After all, your in school, study, you don't need to go out and spend money

I would buy used parts for my truck in a heart beat, but one thing I went into the hole for, and don't regret, is buying new rubber.

If you can't afford tires....
1) You can't afford to offroad, becaue its not if you break something, its when and what will break.
2) You can't afford tires cause your in school and money goes to school, but you can';t wait until school is over to lift it? where are your priorities?
3) You can't afford new rubber, but you want to lift your truck, put bigger tires on - have you considered what that will do to your gas consumption?
4) Given 1 & 2, I would ditch the offroading and get some passenger SUV tires, some good radial tire. Would cost alot less, and you would have new rubber that would last until you get out of school and if you keep it stock your gas consumption would stay the same.

Ok, I am going to get a body lift for my birthday. That cost is taken care of. My mom is willing to give me some money towards a set of tires as in $150. It is not costing me anything. I just have to pay for the mounting and balancing of the tire.

I don't ever off road with this truck. My off roading is just driving on a muddy trail. No big holes and stuff to go through. I am not that dumb.

I have the money to buy almost any new set of tires that I wanted. I won't do it though. I do not mind if they are used. The least amount of money that I have to spend the better.

Two people on here said it was a good tire. I trust their judgement.

Don't worry, I know what I am looking for in the tire. I am going to look but the guy said no plugs or dry rot.

I have blown a tire out going down the road (50). I know what happens. The tires were old and had really bad dry rot. There was a bubble coming up off the tire.

Ok, it does not matter any more because the guy sold them today. So, looks like I am still searching for my tires.
