Explorer wheels

I found a set of 15 inch wheels off of a 2001 explorer. Question is will they work on my 2000 ranger? I'm mainly concerned about the hub size being alot larger than what's on my ranger.

Yes they will fit just fine

Too large a center hole is OK, too small is not

1983 to 2011 Rangers use the lugs to center the wheel not the hub center, so are "lug centric"
Lug centric vehicles will use lugs that are tapered(acorn) style to center the wheel as lugs are tightened

I put these on my 98 ranger and my old center cap form my 14 inch deer hoof ,does not fit .
Did the explorer use a diff center cap?
The center caps I have are F87A-1A096 .
I see some on Ebay that are part # F67A-1A096 .
Or are my lug nuts too short.
